Having frequently lived in high-pace, city environments, Karpathos has always been my personal Neverland; a hiding place where I’ve always felt at home, not only because of my deep family roots, but more importantly because of the joy and peace this island exudes.

No matter how hectic city life would sometimes become, I would always have my summers in Karpathos to come back to; a safe haven to let go of the worries and stress of growing up. Karpathos is a getaway where one can easily give-in to the tranquillity and freedom of being on a traditional small Greek island.

In Karpathos, being deeply connected with nature and with people who set my heart ablaze has always been an everyday occurrence; from boat trips and scuba diving to hiking excursions, from traditional dinners to star-gazing nights; there is no end to the countless ways my family, friends and I would come up with to enjoy ourselves and feel present and alive: living in the moment!

 

I moved to Karpathos and found the perfect spot on a pine covered hill overlooking the sea where I ended up building a luxurious villa for people from around the world to be my guests and experience an atmosphere of peaceful relaxation coupled with personalised service that would make their retreat unforgettable.

Set high in the Pigadia area, offering dazzling views of the Mediterranean sea, elegant and with a minimalistic design, Villa Michel-Angelo is a small paradise I created to share with my guests; a neverland for people to experience the peace, freedom and love the island of Karpathos has to offer.
